Gifts for a Graudate

Soon, caps and gowns will be donned, “Pomp and Circumstance” will be played, and diplomas will be handed out. Graduation is upon us, and it’s time to celebrate! Whether you’re shopping for a girl you mentor, the graduates in your ministry, or a daughter, sister, or friend, here are some intentional gift ideas for your grad:

  1. Before You Go – A 30-day devotional from Lifeway Students written just for recent graduates and full of wisdom to take with them through whatever comes next.

  2. In My Feels by Mac Bridges and Kenz Durham – In this 8-session Bible study, college girls will dive into eight core feelings and see how Scripture highlights the beauty of each one.

  3. For When I’m in My Feels by Mac Bridges and Kenz Durham – A 40-day devotional to lead grads to discover that God desires to speak to them through His Word and prayer, no matter what they’re feeling today.

  4. A personalized Bible – Give her a gift she’ll never forget: a Bible with her name on it. From notetaking Bibles to study Bibles to Bibles specifically for women, there are many options to personalize the best guide for her next steps.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with cash, gift cards, or dorm necessities—as a former poor college student, I found those very useful. However, as a former college student who struggled with time in the Word, I can also attest that a devotional, Bible study, or devotional are very useful, too. There’s no better gift than to know that Jesus is with you and others are too amidst so much change. May we all take some time to remind the grads around us of that truth and to celebrate them in this season!
