What is a Soul Care Call?
Lifeway Girls truly cares about your heart and the spiritual state of your soul. We know that ministry can often leave us feeling lonely, stressed, and weary, but that doesn’t mean we have to stay that way. A Soul Care Call gives you a safe place outside your normal ministry circle to find prayer, biblical encouragement, and a chance to process.
Soul Care Calls take place via Zoom and last approximately 15 minutes. We’d love to intentionally spend that time discussing your current situation and navigating potential next steps. Here are some examples of what your call could be about:
You’re feeling burnt out in this current season of ministry and you could use some encouragement.
You’re not connecting with your girls and you just need to be reminded that you’re not wasting your time.
You don’t feel supported in your role at the church and you could use some prayer.
You have no idea on how to navigate a difficult situation involving teen girls at church and you want to talk it out with someone.
What isn’t a Soul Care Call?
This isn’t a place to gossip or bad-mouth others. While we ask for authenticity and transparency, please know this will not be a conversation that dishonors your churches, ministry leaders, or teen girls.
This isn’t a professional counseling session. When you sign up for a call, we will ask you to give us a general explanation about the call. If we feel like it’s outside of our range of expertise, we will let you know upfront.
Who are Soul Care Calls intended for?
The heart of Lifeway girls is to help girls ministry leaders—girls ministers, church staff members, Bible study teachers, volunteers, and more—point their teen girls to Christ. If you’re a woman who falls into that category, these calls are designed just for you, and we’d love to talk!

When you sign up for a Soul Care Call, you will get to talk to the Lifeway Girls Brand Specialist, Amanda Mejias. Before coming to Lifeway, Amanda served on church staff for many years and she is passionate about serving you.
