We are just days away from our Lifeway Girls Conference event in Nashville and less than three weeks away from our event in Dallas! We hope you are as excited as we are to see what God is going to do in our hearts and in the hearts of our girls.
As you are preparing and organizing those last minute details, we wanted to go ahead and answer some questions you may already be thinking about and give you any final reminders (they’re in bold!) to make your arrival and experience at the Girls Conference as seamless as possible!
Where do I go when I first arrive?
You will come to the Check-In desk in the lobby. We will have staff in grey t-shirts in the parking lot directing you to the correct doors.
I haven’t received my tickets in the mail…what do I do?
No tickets were mailed. You will get a name tag at Check-In for each participant that serves as your ticket into the sessions.
What do I need to bring to Check-In?
Every person in your group needs a Media Release Form found here. Make sure each form is signed by a parent or legal guardian. We will just need the name you registered under to look up your registration to check-in your group!
Can I add any girls to my registration upon arrival?
Absolutely! We can take cash, credit card, or checks.
Do we have to register for the Breakout Sessions we want to attend?
You do not. Every girl will participate in the same four breakout sessions during the conference on a set schedule. You will be assigned to a color group on your name tag. At the end of the first general session we will dismiss by color group and lead you to your assigned Breakout session. During Breakout Sessions 2 and 3 there will be Q&A sessions for leaders only.
What is for lunch on Saturday? What if I have a food allergy?
Every participant will be provided a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink. If you have a food allergy to report, please email email@example.com for accommodations.
What is the Late Night Option this year?
Karaoke! Just Dance! Photobooth! Coloring Books! Cotton Candy! So many activities, so you can pick your favorite or spend time at each!
Are there t-shirts available to purchase?
Yes! We have an awesome one available at the Conference Book Store. They will be $18.
Where do I go if I have questions during the conference?
The Check-In desk will have members of our staff team at all times ready to help you. You also can ask anyone around the conference in a grey staff shirt a question and they will get you an answer!
When can I sign up for next year?
Registration for the 2020 conference will be open in January! Keep an eye out on the blog for more release information.
